🔹 About the YES Programme

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a national initiative led by the South African Presidency to combat youth unemployment. Through this programme, Eskom offers unemployed youth a valuable 12-month work experience opportunity within its operations across South Africa.

This is ideal if you:

• Need your first formal work experience

• Want exposure to the energy sector

• Are eager to enter the job market

🔹 Minimum Requirements

You must:

• Be a South African citizen

• Be 18–34 years old

• Have Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Maths Literacy

• Be proficient in English + at least one other official South African language

🔹 Selection Criteria

You:

• Must NOT have been permanently employed with one employer for more than 1 year

• Must NOT be studying full-time in 2026

• Must NOT have previously participated in the YES programme
