Key Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
• Conduct preservation activities to protect stock from damage, corrosion, or deterioration.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes (as and when required).
• Adhere strictly to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and all Eskom health and safety regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks including updating records in SAP, completing bin cards, and maintaining accurate stock registers.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Participate in stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory verification processes.
• Identify and report damaged, obsolete, or slow-moving stock.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve supply chain targets.
• Maintain high standards of integrity, accuracy, and accountability in all warehouse activities.
