Job Purpose

The Storeperson – Healthwise will be responsible for the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of hospital supplies. You will ensure accurate stock control, maintain high standards of organisation and hygiene, and support the seamless operation of the hospital’s supply chain. Detailed Key Responsibilities

As a Storeperson, your core duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials against delivery notes and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and assist with stock control and inventory management using manual and digital systems.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (and forklifts if licensed) safely and responsibly.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports on stock movements, consumption, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement, clinical, and support teams to resolve any supply-related issues promptly.
  • Comply with all hospital policies, occupational health and safety regulations, and Tsebo’s standard operating procedures.
