Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, your duties will vary by site but will generally include:

• Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect security threats.
• Controlling access to premises and verifying credentials of visitors and staff.
• Monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Responding promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations.
• Maintaining accurate occurrence books, registers, and incident reports.
• Providing professional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
• Enforcing site-specific security policies and procedures.
• Assisting with crowd control and emergency evacuations when required.
• Conducting searches of vehicles, persons, and premises as per protocol.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver’s licence (Code EB) will be an advantage for certain sites.
