Key Responsibilities As an R&D WIL Learner in Packaging, you will support the R&D team with the following core duties: Trial Support & Execution Assist with the preparation and issuance of trial protocols to key stakeholders after alignment with the R&D Technologist or R&D Manager. Support the planning, organising, and execution of assigned research and development projects. Help deliver low-complexity projects from prototype to pilot plant trials. Attend and support pilot plant and factory trials as required. Execute production trials for low-complexity projects and report results using the TSG methodology. Laboratory & Quality Testing Perform routine analytical and product quality tests. Lead base product collection from production lines for pilot plant development. Conduct seasoning applications to ensure salt results are within specification. Perform laboratory tests including: Salt Analysis Oil Analysis Bulk Density Analysis Particle Size Analysis Moisture Analysis Project & Administrative Support Compile project timelines and communicate with relevant teams to secure equipment and resources. Support scale-up activities at PepsiCo production plants and co-manufacturers. Deliver concise, accurate, and complete project reporting with recommendations. Draft R&D technical data such as artwork specifications, process specifications, and finished pack standards. Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure legal compliance.
