Key Responsibilities Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others): Receive corpses within the institution — accurately record and register all incoming bodies. Ensure name tags correspond with records and registers at all times. Transport corpses safely to and from wards, hospitals, and other facilities. Manage storage of corpses — check fridge temperatures daily, place bodies in correct shelves, and verify box numbers. Complete TPH Registers and assist with audits of corpse length of stay in the mortuary. Identify and prepare corpses for viewing, post-mortem, identification, or pauper’s burial. Sign off corpses from the TPH and removal forms when releasing bodies. Assist government officials and undertakers during the removal of corpses.
