Key Responsibilities (Primary Functions)

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others):

  • Conduct remuneration and benefits administration, including processing of payroll inputs and queries.
  • Perform recruitment and selection functions, such as advertising vacancies, coordinating shortlisting, and assisting with interviews.
  • Support labour relations processes, including handling of grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Assist with skills development and training administration, including coordination of learning programmes.
  • Perform occupational health and safety administration and related compliance tasks.
  • Conduct individual performance management administration and support performance review processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient HR operations across client departments.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation for all HR processes.
  • Respond to internal and external queries professionally and timeously.
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and correspondence as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative frameworks.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and client departments to deliver seamless support services.

Minimum Requirements (Appointment Requirements)

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • At least six months’ relevant working experience in an administrative support services environment.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications).
  • SAP knowledge will be a strong added advantage.
  • Must undergo a criminal record check (fingerprints will be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision while maintaining high standards.
