As a Linen Stores Assistant, you will: Ensure wards and hospital units receive clean linen timeously Load and unload laundry vehicles Deliver clean linen to departments and collect soiled linen Count and record linen daily; assist with monthly stocktaking Support the supervisor and relieve in other departments as required Assist with audits and inventory checks Minimum Requirements ✅ Basic numeracy and literacy skills✅ Appropriate experience handling linen in a hospital or healthcare environment✅ Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long hours✅ Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime Skills & Knowledge Good verbal and written communication Knowledge of stock control and infection prevention Reliable, responsible, and able to perform physically demanding tasks Flexible and willing to assist in other departments when needed Additional Information ⚠️ Candidates may be subjected to a competency test.
