Key Responsibilities

As a Driver / Courier at RAM, you will be the face of the company on the road. Your main duties will include:

• Safely and efficiently collecting and delivering parcels, documents, and freight within assigned routes.
• Providing excellent customer service by treating every delivery with care and professionalism.
• Completing accurate delivery documentation and scanning of consignments.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of company vehicles.
• Adhering to all road safety rules, company policies, and health & safety standards.
• Reporting any incidents, vehicle defects, or customer feedback promptly.
• Working collaboratively with the depot team to achieve daily targets.
• Handling parcels with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Managing time effectively to meet tight delivery schedules.
• Representing RAM’s values of accountability and care in every interaction.
• Assisting with sorting, loading, and offloading of consignments when required.
• Maintaining accurate records of fuel usage, kilometres travelled, and deliveries completed.

You will be expected to work flexible hours, including early starts and occasional Saturdays, depending on operational needs.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 10 or 14 with PDP for heavier vehicles – depending on route).
• Minimum 1–2 years driving experience (preferably in courier or logistics).
• Clean criminal record and valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit) where required.
