As a Data Capturer: EPWP, you will be at the centre of this important programme — collecting, verifying, and capturing data from various implementing bodies (national departments, provinces, districts, and municipalities). Your work directly supports accurate reporting, monitoring, and successful delivery of thousands of work opportunities created through EPWP projects. Key Responsibilities Collect EPWP project data from implementing public entities, departments, districts, and local municipalities. Receive, verify, and capture data into the Integrated Reporting System and Infrastructure Management Information System. Draft monthly and quarterly reports on all collected EPWP data. Identify and query missing or incorrect data and follow up to ensure accuracy. Make regular backups of captured data to prevent loss. Provide information and guidance to public bodies on data capturing processes and deadlines. Offer administrative support to the EPWP unit. Monitor communication and manage the flow of documents and information in the office. Perform general administrative duties as required by the supervisor. Minimum Requirements National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. No previous work experience required — this is an excellent entry-level government opportunity. Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
