Detailed Duties and Responsibilities As a Client Service Officer: IES, you will provide essential frontline support. Key responsibilities include: Serving as the first point of entry at the help desk for Inspection and Enforcement Services. Receiving and resolving complaints related to labour legislation within the scope of the IES Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Registering and referring cases for further investigation or enforcement action. Providing accurate information on labour rights, obligations, and available services. Performing general administrative duties in the IES section. Participating in advocacy sessions, workshops, and outreach programmes as required. Capturing and updating client information on departmental systems. Assisting with the preparation of reports and statistics on IES activities. Collaborating with inspectors, enforcement officers, and other stakeholders. Ensuring high standards of customer care and professionalism at all times. Requirements for the Client Service Officer: IES Role Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matriculation or equivalent qualification. Knowledge of all relevant labour legislation and regulations.
