Job Responsibilities: What You Will Do

As a Cleaner, your main responsibility will be to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the office building. Your daily duties will include:

• Dusting and polishing office furniture and surfaces.
• Cleaning blinds, glass doors, and windows.
• Emptying, washing, and replacing liners in dustbins and waste bins.
• Sweeping and mopping floors in offices, corridors, stairs, entrances, and lift lobbies.
• Cleaning the reception area, mirrors, wall tiles, and toilet facilities.
• Replacing toilet paper, hand towels, and refilling hand wash liquid soap.
• Sweeping and mopping toilet floors.
• Removing refuse from public areas.
• Reporting any broken cleaning machines or equipment to the supervisor.
• Cleaning lifts, lift lobbies, entrances, and all general office spaces.

This is a hands-on role that requires consistency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Requirements: Who Can Apply?

This is a very accessible entry-level position with minimal barriers:

• Education: ABET Level 4 Certificate or equivalent.
• Knowledge:
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance.
