Dustbin Management: Empty dustbins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste material in line with environmental and health regulations. Floor and Carpet Maintenance: Wash floors, vacuum carpets, and ensure all floor surfaces are clean, dry, and safe for users. Deep Cleaning of Toilets and Ablution Areas: Perform deep cleaning of toilets, refill toilet paper dispensers and hand-washing soap, and maintain hygiene standards in high-traffic areas. Kitchen and Utensil Cleaning: Clean kitchen utensils, counters, and related areas to support staff and ensure food safety compliance. Reporting Defects: Promptly report any defects, damages, or maintenance issues encountered during cleaning to the supervisor for action. Safety Awareness: Alert staff and visitors to slippery floors or other hazards to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. Material Handling: Assist with off-loading delivered materials and arranging the storeroom accordingly to maintain order and accessibility. General Housekeeping: Contribute to overall cleanliness, tidiness, and organisation of the facility, including outdoor areas where required. Minimum Requirements A minimum of Grade 09 / ABET Level 4 or equivalent qualification. No previous experience required — this is a true entry-level government position. Knowledge of the usage of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment. Physically fit and able to handle manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
