Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Aged between 18 and 40 years
• South African citizen
• Currently unemployed
• Passion for food, retail and customer service
• Willing to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to completing the full six-month development programme

You will gain: Specialist butchery skills, practical in-store experience, industry-recognised workplace exposure, and a pathway into the retail food industry.

2. Freshrize – Growing the Next Generation of Bakery Talent Perfect for those who want to turn a passion for baking into a career while learning from experienced bakery teams. You will gain: Bakery production skills, food preparation experience, customer service expertise, and practical workplace exposure.

3. All Rounders – Developing the Next Generation of Retail Frontline Talent Experience multiple areas of retail while building broad skills for a successful career in store operations. You will gain: Customer service skills, merchandising experience, frontline retail operations knowledge, and exposure across different store departments.

4. Health & Beauty Heroes – Developing the Next Generation of Health & Beauty Advisors Help customers discover health and beauty products while building specialist retail knowledge. You will gain: Health & Beauty product knowledge, sales and customer engagement skills, merchandising experience, and practical retail experience.
