About the Role

The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment or materials either inside or outside the company’s premises. The role works under supervision where decisions are clearly defined.

Key tasks include positioning forks, lifting platforms or other lifting devices under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials, and transporting loads to designated areas. The operator also loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids or lifting devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, lift, stack and transport products, equipment and materials
• Position forks or lifting devices correctly under or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes or materials
• Transport loads to designated storage or dispatch areas
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids or lifting devices
• Work under clear supervision and follow defined procedures
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all company safety standards
• Perform pre-operational checks on the forklift and report any defects
• Assist with general warehouse or production support tasks as required
• Ensure accurate and careful handling of products to minimise damage

Minimum Requirements
