Sales Assistant – Studio 88

Position Overview:
As a Sales Assistant at Studio 88, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining store standards. Your responsibilities include assisting customers in finding products, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience Required:
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably retail, particularly in clothing stores.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in supporting the sales team through tasks like restocking, organizing, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Familiarity with handling cash and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Inventory Control: Experience with stock control, organizing stockrooms, and conducting spot checks.
Skills Required:
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills to assist customers and resolve issues.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Ability to recommend products or upsell.
- Knowledge of clothing products, brands, sizes, and fashion trends.
- Basic understanding of visual merchandising for maintaining store displays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and management.
- Time Management: Effectively manage time to ensure tasks are completed.
