The Department is inviting applications for the following Cleaner vacancies:

• Salary: R138,486 per annum (Level 02 – Basic Salary)

✅ Minimum Requirements

This is a great entry-level opportunity as no formal qualifications are required:

• Education: Ability to read and write

• Experience: Not required, but any cleaning experience will be an advantage

You must be willing and able to perform cleaning duties efficiently and responsibly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform general cleaning functions to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. Duties include:

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and scrubbing floors

• Deep cleaning of toilets and washrooms

• Waste disposal and basic waste management

• Cleaning and safe storage of cleaning equipment after use

• Supporting team members and reporting to supervisors

• Responsible use and storage of cleaning materials and stock

This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and a professional environment in government offices and tribal councils.
