• Education:

  • General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 / Standard 7

• Experience:

  • Proven experience in the application and removal of plaster of Paris

• Inherent Job Requirements:

  • Willing to work scheduled hours, including possible overtime

  • Must be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working with patients

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Plaster of Paris Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:

• Applying and removing plaster of Paris casts as directed by medical staff

• Cleaning wounds and assisting in the Orthopaedic clinic

• Ensuring that resources are used economically and effectively

• Providing supportive services to doctors and nurses during treatment procedures

• Maintaining hygiene standards in work areas

This role is hands-on and plays a vital role in Orthopaedic patient care.
