About the SPAR Learnership Programme 2026/27

The SPAR Group North Rand Distribution Centre is inviting applications for the 2026/2027 Supply Chain Management Learnership (NQF Level 5).

This learnership is designed to equip young unemployed South Africans with valuable workplace experience and a nationally recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management, one of the most in-demand career fields in logistics, retail, and distribution.

Successful learners will be based at the SPAR North Rand Distribution Centre for a period of twelve (12) months, gaining both theoretical training and practical workplace exposure.

What You Will Learn

During the learnership, candidates will gain skills in:

• Supply chain operations

• Warehouse and distribution processes

• Inventory and stock control

• Logistics coordination

• Procurement basics

• Workplace communication

• Health and safety procedures

• Retail distribution systems

This programme prepares learners for careers in:

• Supply Chain Management

• Logistics

• Warehouse Administration

• Distribution Operations

• Retail Operations

• Procurement and Inventory Control

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following:

• Must have Grade 12 (Matric)

• Must be currently unemployed

• Must not be studying towards another qualification

• Must be between 18 and 34 years old

• Must be willing to commit to a 12-month learnership programme

• Must reside in Gauteng or be able to travel to the Distribution Centre
