Job Description:

VKB Agriculture (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic agricultural company in the Northeast Free State with interests in Limpopo. The role is responsible for the profitable management of the Grain Depot in Modimolle, Limpopo.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Grade 12 or NQF4
• Management Programme: Successful completion of the New Manager’s Programme (or relevant)
• Experience: Proven industry management experience of 5 years is essential
• Courses: All appropriate grain fumigation, grading, and silo operating courses are essential
• Skills: Computer Literate in MS Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grain Monitoring: Continuously monitor the flow of grain and protect grain through fumigation.
• Temperature Monitoring: Monitor grain tube temperature and report deviations.
• Grain Measurement: Measure grain tubes according to policy and safety regulations.
• Input Trade Duties: Responsible for these duties.
• Silo Operation: Operate silo according to VKB Group policy and regulations.
• Inventory Management: Handle inventory management effectively.
• Financial Management: Oversee financial and administrative management.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage infrastructure.
• General Management: Handle overall management responsibilities.
• Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service.
