Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others):

• Efficiently execute all point-of-sale (POS) operational activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and processing payments, including ClubCard rewards.
• Ensure safe and responsible handling of cash at all times.
• Proactively promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members to achieve participation targets.
• Inform customers about current promotions to enhance sales and deliver value.
• Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador — being visible, friendly, and professional.
• Execute and maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store and visual standards.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information.
• Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living the company values.
• Assist with stock management, replenishment, and maintaining a neat store appearance.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
• Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role within a retail or FMCG environment.

• Basic maths calculations and numeracy skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn POS systems quickly.
