Job Purpose The Sales Supervisor will support the Store Manager in leading the sales team, driving daily targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. You will supervise floor staff, motivate the team, manage stock, and ensure that all processes are followed according to Tekkie Town’s requirements. This role is critical for achieving sales budgets, minimising stock loss, and delivering a positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. Key Responsibilities As a Sales Supervisor, your core duties will include: Maximise profitability by assisting the Store Manager to achieve monthly sales budgets and targets. Ensure the store’s administration is in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor and control stock losses to keep them below the benchmark. Implement and maintain brand standards in line with customer expectations. Effectively execute promotions, visual merchandising, and store presentation standards. Keep updated with the latest stock trends and oversee the unpacking process. Coordinate daily customer service operations, including sales processes, orders, and payments. Supervise and motivate sales associates to ensure daily targets are met. Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates to improve performance. Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Ensure all employees adhere to company SOPs. Handle opening and closing of the store. Build strong trade relationships and provide excellent customer service. Assist with stock management, merchandising, and loss prevention activities. Participate in team meetings, training, and performance reviews. Maintain a high level of personal presentation and professionalism at all times. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria: Qualifications: Grade 12 / Matric – essential. Computer literacy (MS Office – proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) – essential. Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a Senior Sales Assistant in the retail sector.
