Role Overview

As a Reach Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently operate Reach Trucks (Material Handling Equipment – MHE) to support daily warehouse operations. You will be responsible for put-away, replenishment, stock movement, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and housekeeping. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties will include:

• Safely operating Reach Trucks to move, load, and unload goods in the warehouse.
• Performing put-away of incoming stock into correct racking locations.
• Conducting stock replenishment to ensure picking faces are adequately stocked.
• Completing daily MHE checklists and reporting any defects or faults immediately.
• Handling goods with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Participating in stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy processes.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards in your operating area.
• Adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI).

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this Reach Truck Driver role, you must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification (or equivalent).
• Valid Reach Truck Operator Certificate / Licence.
• Proven experience operating Reach Trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Computer literacy (basic MS Office and warehouse systems).
• WMOS (Warehouse Management Operating System) experience is highly advantageous.
