Job Description

As a Picker, you will play a key role in warehouse operations by ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfilment for stores. Your main goal is to increase efficiency, maintain high quality standards, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, scan, wrap, and label orders accurately according to schedules.
• Report any discrepancies or shortages immediately.
• Operate scanners to track and record inventory movements.
• Handle products safely, including heavy lifting and moving items as needed.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment responsibly.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and well-organised.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, checkers, and team members.
• Follow all quality, safety, and procedural standards at all times.
• Build product knowledge to ensure accurate picking and packing.

The role reports to the Outbound Supervisor, Outbound Manager, and Outbound Checker.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Live within 25km of the workplace in Moriah, KZN (please specify your exact suburb/area when applying).
• Clear criminal record.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and fast-paced work.

Preferences (Advantageous)

• Previous experience as a Picker or Warehouse Worker (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Age between 18 and 35 years.
• South African citizen.
• Experience using barcodes, serial numbers, or scanners for order picking.
