Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others):

• Keep the store vibe positive and safe to reduce losses, following security and handling procedures.
• Manage the cash register following company rules and keep the store tidy.
• Make the store efficient and cost-effective, working with a cool team of Dynamos.
• Sell products to customers with a smile, suggest additional items, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer problems or questions and inform them about sales and special deals.
• Know everything about the products, show them off, and help customers find what they need.
• Greet customers and offer help as soon as they walk in.
• Help achieve sales goals and stay updated on new products and features.
• Assist with ordering stock and setting up the store to look awesome.
• Receive, organise, and manage delivered stock.
• Ensure customers leave happy and process payments correctly using the cash register.
• Stay on top of any changes to products and features.
• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Minimise stock losses through vigilance and adherence to procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Experience as a Cashier, General Assistant, Store Assistant, Sales Administrator, Sales Advisor, Sales Assistant, Retail Assistant, or similar role (advantageous).
• Must live within 15km from Kleinmond.
• Clear criminal record.
• Honest and trustworthy, especially when handling cash or finance.

Preferences (Advantageous)

• South African candidates.
• Candidates between 20 and 35 years old.
