Available Positions

1. General Workers General Workers provide essential operational support within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general hospital support duties.
• Help with the movement of equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Support portering and patient-related logistics where required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in assigned areas.
• Assist with waste handling and basic maintenance support tasks.
• Follow all hospital policies, safety, and infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or Grade 12 advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.

2. Drivers Drivers support the hospital by transporting patients, staff, documents, or goods safely and professionally.

• Safely transport patients, staff, or hospital items as required.
• Perform vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects.
• Follow designated routes and schedules.
• Complete accurate trip and vehicle records.
• Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
• Adhere to all road safety and company driving policies.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence (Code 08 or higher, depending on the vehicle).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) where required.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous driving experience (patient transport or logistics advantageous).
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Good knowledge of local routes is an advantage.
• Ability to work shifts and remain calm under pressure.

3. Cleaners Cleaners play a critical role in infection prevention and maintaining a safe, hygienic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect wards, offices, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Follow hospital cleaning protocols and infection control standards.
• Empty bins and handle waste according to medical waste procedures.
• Replenish cleaning materials and toiletries.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
