Designation: Mobile Driver
Remuneration: B2
Location: Metrobus
Purpose: Transport Route Inspectors to inspect buses on a daily basis.
Essential Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Code 8/EB Driver’s License or Code C1.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a driver.
- Should be willing to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of Metrobus routes will be an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
- Operate the vehicle in a professional manner.
- Ensure that the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in roadworthy condition.
- Daily pre-trip inspection of the vehicle by checking brakes, lights, and any damages.
- Ensure availability for the shift at the determined time.
- Report promptly for the shift to perform pre-check inspection and other administrative duties.
- Drive the vehicle professionally to promote the company’s image.
- Drive the vehicle with respect and courtesy to other road users.
