Key Responsibilities Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others): Enforce the Immigration Act (No. 13 of 2002) and related legislation effectively. Detect, trace, detain, and prosecute illegal foreigners within the country. Process the deportation of illegal foreigners to their countries of origin. Provide operational support during law enforcement investigations and anti-corruption cases. Conduct inspections in loco (with or without warrant) as permitted by law. Investigate transgressions of the Immigration Act, Refugees Act, and other departmental legislation. Prepare and present evidence in court and departmental proceedings.
