Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following core duties (among others):

• Loading and offloading of stock as required.
• Keeping the premises clean and tidy at all times.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
• Providing excellent customer service to all shoppers.
• Performing general cleaning duties in the store and storeroom.
• Ensuring products are neatly displayed and shelves are well-stocked.
• Assisting customers with locating items and carrying purchases.
• Disposing of waste properly and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Following all safety, security, and company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• Experience as a General Assistant, General Worker, or in a similar role (advantageous).
• Ability to perform hard manual labour.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Clear criminal record.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends when needed.
