The Innovation and Empowerment component supports the effective implementation of EPWP projects by ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and administrative support. As a Data Capturer, you will be responsible for converting paper-based and electronic records into structured digital formats. Your work will support decision-making, monitoring, and reporting on EPWP activities. Accurate data capturing is essential for tracking progress, identifying gaps, and ensuring compliance with national guidelines. Key Performance Areas / Duties The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Provide office support services. Capture data from available records into the required formats (e.g. databases, tables, spreadsheets). Submit data as required. Verify and query missing data and errors observed during data entry. Review and validate all data from the records. Update registers and statistics regularly. Make regular backups of data to ensure information security. Provide information to components as requested. Keep and maintain records and files. Ensure that records and files are properly sorted and secured. In practical terms, this involves careful attention to detail when transferring information from source documents into electronic systems, checking for accuracy and completeness, correcting errors, and maintaining organised filing systems. You will also support the team by generating basic reports and ensuring data integrity for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
