Division: OPS 2 DIV 7 – MKUZE

Job Description: The End Controller ensures that all relevant documentation for transactions is checked and recorded when stock and/or fixed assets leave the store or when customers return stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Security:

• Ensure no goods leave Cashbuild stores without the relevant documentation.
• Ensure documentation is complete, correct, and fully signed with correct date, time, and sequence.
• Record all customer returns correctly in the End Controller book and get them authorized.
• Maintain security by signing the End Control keys IN/OUT daily.
• Ensure all exit/entry doors are closed if not in use and loading/off-loading shutter doors are closed when not in use.
• Report suspicious behavior and vehicles to management.
• Conduct random searches on employees when they leave the store.

Customer Service:

• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service to all Cashbuild customers when checking in and out customer goods.
• Direct customers to the relevant person who can assist them.

• Adhere to “Ready for Business and Beyond my Control” standards as per the Cashbuild Way.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 and one year of work-related experience, or two years of work-related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area.
• Must be literate with strong numeric skills.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
