Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A Diploma or Degree in nursing (R 425 qualification) allowing for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse with Midwifery.
- Registration Proof: Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse with Midwifery.
- Experience Requirements:
- Grade 1: Less than 10 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- Grade 2: 10 to 19 years of relevant experience post-registration.
- Grade 3: 20 years or more relevant experience post-registration.
- Specialized Experience: Experience in a mother and child facility or operating theatre.
- Legal and Ethical Compliance: Adherence to the legal and ethical standards governing the nursing profession and public service.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to deliver nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Shift Work Commitment: Willingness to work shifts, including day and night shifts, excluding public holidays and Sundays.
