Requirements

• Qualification: A relevant qualification in Nursing.
• Registration: Currently registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant (Auxiliary Nurse).
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Batho Pele Principles, patients’ rights charter, and other relevant prescripts.
• Skills: Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and as part of a team.
• Experience: Verified proof of experience.

Duties

• Patient Support: Assist and support patients with activities of daily living (physical care) and self-care.
• Nursing Care: Render quality care according to the scope of practice and relevant guidelines.
• Professional Development: Maintain professional growth and ethical standards.
• Health Education: Provide health education to patients, families, and communities to promote health.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain constructive working relationships with nurses and other stakeholders.
• Resource Utilization: Use material and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Communication: Possess elementary communication and writing skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
