Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking an experienced Store Cleaner for its Bryanpark Centre location. The Store Cleaner will ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic environment throughout the store, including the shop floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Essential:
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • At least 6 months of cleaning experience
  • Good command of English
  • Basic customer service skills
  • Willingness to work retail hours
• Advantageous:
  • Bilingual
  • Previous experience in retail store cleaning

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the store and communal areas.
• Clean the canteen and restrooms, keeping them stocked with necessary supplies.
• Remain available throughout operational hours for on-demand cleaning.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for each task.
• Display a wet floor sign during floor cleaning.
• Assist customers professionally when needed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.
