Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for the following (among others):

• Perform proactive sales activities on the floor to generate and close sales.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales budgets, targets, and personal income goals.
• Attract and retain customers through excellent merchandising, product presentation, and store upkeep.
• Identify customer needs, provide expert product recommendations, and offer tailored solutions.
• Process cash, credit, and lay-by transactions accurately and in line with company policy.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly, professional, and customer-centric manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Participate in promotions, stock management, and visual merchandising activities.
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge across all categories.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with the store team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
• 7 – 12 months of sales experience, preferably in a retail environment (advantageous but not mandatory for strong candidates).
• Passion for sales and a genuine desire to help customers.
