Role Overview
Refinery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager for their Elim Mall location in Limpopo. This is a permanent role focused on maintaining smooth and effective store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. The Store Manager will play a key role in managing the store’s day-to-day activities, training and supervising staff, handling financial records, and implementing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise team members. Lead and manage the team to ensure efficient and customer-focused service.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service by addressing customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets (profit & loss, payroll), financial records, and statistical data with attention to detail. Implement cost-control measures to meet profitability targets.
• Sales and Profit Maximization: Drive sales targets and encourage the team to achieve them. Develop and implement store-specific action plans to increase sales and profitability.
• Visual Merchandising: Oversee product displays and store presentation to reflect the latest fashion trends, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Inventory Management: Ensure stock levels are maintained, conduct regular inventory checks, and minimize stock losses.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold health and safety standards for both customers and team members, ensuring a safe shopping and work environment.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
• Experience: 1-2 years of management experience in a retail or similar environment
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Business acumen with a keen understanding of financial records and budgets
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain resilient
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Social-media savvy and up-to-date with fashion trends
