Job Description
Sappi is seeking a Production Intern to gain practical work experience and enhance employability. This 24-month internship will involve completing a development plan, section-specific training, and achieving plant licensing competency. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing the development plan and section-specific training within 24 months.
- Meeting performance standards as defined in the development plan.
- Completing general and plant-specific induction and legal training.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Conducting regular Behavioural Based Safety observations.
- Maintaining good relationships with assigned coaches and mentors.
- Participating in shift activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper, or S4.
- No prior work experience is required.
