Media24 Journalist Internship 2024: The Media24 Journalist Internship 2024 is now accepting applications for its intake in Gauteng. Successful candidates will join DRUM magazine in Randburg, Gauteng, for a 12-month internship starting in February 2024.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create stories for various Media24 platforms and magazine brands such as DRUM, You, or True Love
• Work on various social media platforms, producing engaging content including videos
• Assist with content uploading and curation
• Conduct internet research to identify trending stories
• Compile newsletters with appealing content Who Should Apply? Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Hold a diploma or degree in Journalism, Politics, Media Studies, or Languages (a post-graduate degree is advantageous)
• Passionate about storytelling across different platforms and formats
• Proficient writer with a keen interest in digital media
• Ability to produce engaging videos, including shooting videos via smartphone
• Naturally curious about people and the world
• Eager to learn, able to work under pressure, and a fast worker
• Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and popular social media platforms
• Driven, energetic, and a strong team player
