Experience: Relevant experience as a cleaner in a health environment. Inherent Requirements of the Job: Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and supplies. Capability to work at heights using a stepladder. Physical ability to perform tasks and operate heavy-duty cleaning and household equipment. Willingness to rotate between different clinics as operational needs require. Competencies (Knowledge/Skills): Ability to work effectively in a team, independently, and without supervision. Accountability, responsibility, and the ability to handle conflict and work under pressure. Skill in operating cleaning machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties, including: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing. Removing refuse and cleaning garbage bins daily. Cleaning toilets, sluices, drains, windows, and walls in the clinic. Ensure cleaning equipment is clean and securely stored after use. Assist the supervisor with housekeeping tasks such as: Controlling cleaning and household equipment. Caring for linen and serving patients. Adhere to safety measures when handling waste. Attend in-service training to enhance service delivery.
