PROVINCIAL OFFICES & REFERENCE NUMBERS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• South African citizen

• Unemployed and not previously in an internship

• Tertiary Qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7) in one of the following:

  • Environmental Health / Environmental Science

  • Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Construction or Industrial Engineering

  • Occupational Health / Hygiene / Analytical Chemistry

  • Explosives Management or Explosives Engineering

KEY DUTIES

• Assist in OHS inspections to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993).

• Provide administrative support to inspectors.

• Assist with incident investigations and complaint follow-ups.

• Support inspectors during enforcement activities.

• Help compile reports from inspections and investigations.

• Shortlisted candidates must be available for assessments and interviews.

• If not contacted within 8 weeks after closing, consider your application unsuccessful.

• Applicants must be willing to arrange their own accommodation and transport if placed outside their home province.
