About the Programme

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites applications from unemployed South African graduates and TVET College learners to participate in a structured 24-month internship and workplace experience programme.

This initiative forms part of the NPA’s commitment to youth empowerment, skills development, and transformation within the South African justice system. The programme provides valuable work exposure and mentorship to individuals who have recently completed their studies or who are required to complete practical work experience as part of their TVET qualification requirements.

The opportunity is open to both university graduates and TVET College students who meet the stated requirements and have a passion for contributing to public service excellence.

Programme Objective

The goal of the NPA Internship and TVET Placement Programme is to provide participants with hands-on workplace experience in a legal and administrative environment. Successful candidates will gain exposure to various aspects of the NPA’s operations, including finance, human resources, and general administration, while developing professional and technical skills relevant to their field of study.

This once-off opportunity is aimed at individuals seeking to build careers in public administration, justice, governance, or related sectors. It is important to note that candidates who have previously participated in any internship or workplace experience programme within the NPA will not be considered.
