Role Description
The Media Library intern will assist in collating, sourcing, and archiving music usage documentation and compiling metadata information for media to be archived or uploaded into digital platforms.
Key Deliverables
1. Music Usage
- Tasks and Outcomes:
- Check and file all cue sheets as per departmental standards.
- Verify cue sheets against reports and submissions.
- Use search engines to retrieve cue sheets and ensure correct music details are captured.
- Cross-check relevant information on cue sheets using BCM.
- File cue sheets according to BMS titles and rename files to match scheduled titles.
2. Digital Asset Management Administration (DAM)
- Tasks and Outcomes:
- Verify all media and deliverables against the BMS and metadata documents before archiving.
- Archive all supporting documentation and deliverables as per tech spec document standards.
- Conduct verification with relevant departments before metadata is archived.
3. Over the Top Administration (OTT)
- Tasks and Outcomes:
- Source metadata to complete sheets for CMS upload from BTS, Rights Management System (RT), and media files.
- Ensure accurate information is gathered and uploaded to the CMS.
- Source raw artwork and provide it to the design agency, ensuring it meets specifications for all devices.
Requirements
- A National Diploma in Media Studies and/or Library Information Science.
