Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with supervisors to meet daily targets.
• Conducting inspections of work areas.
• Managing tailings materials on-site and at deposition areas.
• Extending and connecting pipelines as required.
• Operating valves for specific tasks.
• Reporting operational challenges or deviations to supervisors.
• Monitoring tailings dam levels and maintaining integrity through mud guard duties.
• Ensuring excellent housekeeping across work areas.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and participating in toolbox talks.

Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years in a Frazer/tailings environment.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Observant, detail-oriented, and good listening skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

General Requirements:

• Must pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime.
• Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit.
