Job Overview Position: Data Capturer – HIV/AIDS Life Skills Conditional Grant Reference Number: DOE67/05/2025 Salary: R193,359–R227,766 per annum (Level 04) Location: Zwelitsha, Eastern Cape Contract Duration: 1 Year Number of Posts: 5 Closing Date: 6 June 2025 at 23:59 (online) or 16:30 (manual delivery) Job Requirements To qualify for the Data Capturer role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. Experience: No prior work experience required – ideal for entry-level candidates! Added Advantage: Practical experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Basic understanding of Public Service policies and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act. Knowledge: Familiarity with data management and archiving procedures. Awareness of HIV/AIDS programs and their significance in education. Key Responsibilities As a Data Capturer, you will: Capture and Validate Data: Accurately input and verify data related to Peer Group Trainers and Learner Support Agents (LSAs), correcting errors as needed. Respond to Queries: Address questions about captured data and provide information to the Directorate. Manage Data and Documents: Store data and documents according to archive procedures, using appropriate databases. Administrative Support: Prepare documents for LSA payments, liaise with districts for monthly payment reports, and handle filing and logistics for HIV/AIDS programs.
