General Assistant: Fruit & Veg
Location: Food Lovers Pinehurst, Cape Town
Reporting To: Fruit & Veg Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Act as the first point of contact, assisting customers with their grocery purchases.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the Fruit & Veg area is clean, well-maintained, and efficiently running.
- Product Management: Prepare sale displays, stock products, ensure accurate labeling, and handle customer orders.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers find products and making purchasing decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Matric
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in fresh produce
- Additional Experience: Proven customer service or retail experience is advantageous.
Key Duties:
- Assist customers with their needs and guide them to appropriate aisles.
- Ensure the store is clean, safe, and organized.
- Stock and replace products, prepare displays, and ensure accurate product labeling.
- Order out-of-stock products and handle near expiry items with special promotions.
