Job Purpose

To assist the Salesman Driver in the daily delivery of Premier products and, where applicable, to assist with cash and tray collection from customers.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant: Sales, your core duties will include:

• Check company products as per the loading sheet and sign for accuracy.
• Adhere to standard departure times to ensure timely deliveries.
• Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene.
• Collect cash from customers and cash in daily (where applicable).
• Offload product at customer premises.
• Report all accidents immediately to the Transport Department and Service Manager.
• Support the Salesman Driver with loading, offloading, and general delivery operations.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers during deliveries and collections.
• Assist with tray returns and related administrative tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• 1–2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
• Valid Driver’s Licence Code 10 / C1 with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
