📌 Job Overview

Unitrans is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker – Assistant Driver to join the Epol Berlin team. The successful candidate will assist with loading, offloading, transport support, and general housekeeping duties to ensure safe, efficient operations. This role is ideal for individuals with strong physical stamina and experience in warehousing, manufacturing, transport, or logistics environments.

✔️ Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following:

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Must have own reliable transport

• Medically fit and able to handle physically demanding tasks

• Clean criminal record

• Previous experience in:

  • Warehousing

  • Manufacturing

  • Transport and Logistics

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, carry heavy items repeatedly

• Strong communication skills & teamwork ability

• Self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision

• Able to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Must follow all supervisor instructions accurately

• Strong work ethic and reliability

🛠️ Duties & Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

Loading & Transport Support

• Loading and unloading company products safely

• Assisting the driver with finding delivery destinations

• Helping unload vehicles at the end of every shift

• Cleaning trucks and maintaining basic vehicle hygiene

Record Keeping & Customer Interaction

• Compiling accurate delivery records and reports

• Obtaining customer signatures for deliveries

• Reporting delivery problems or delays to management

General Duties

• Performing daily housekeeping tasks

• Supporting operational staff as needed

• Ensuring the workspace remains neat, safe, and compliant with company standards
