Job Overview: Sales Associate (40hr)

As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the Sportscene brand. Your main responsibility is to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience while achieving sales targets and promoting brand loyalty.

This is a full-time retail position suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy interacting with customers daily.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Acting as a brand ambassador for Sportscene

• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times

• Understanding customer needs and offering suitable product solutions

• Actively driving sales and achieving store targets

• Keeping track of individual and store sales performance

• Selling a wide range of footwear, apparel, and accessories

• Staying up to date with fashion, décor, and streetwear trends

• Identifying opportunities to generate new sales

• Assisting with stock replenishment and store readiness

• Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising

• Ensuring the store environment is clean and customer-friendly

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate

• Passion for people and customer service

• Willingness to work retail hours (including weekends and holidays)

Retail experience is an advantage but not always required, as training may be provided.
