Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.

No previous work experience required — ideal for recent school leavers or first-time job seekers.

Training or exposure to asset management, codification, and/or procurement will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
As a Provisioning Administration Clerk, you will play a vital administrative and logistical support role, ensuring that all supply and storage operations run efficiently. Your duties will include:

Providing provisioning administration services to support unit operations.

Determining and meeting the supply needs of the unit.
-
Exercising documentary control over goods, materials, and services.
-
Receiving, distributing, and safely storing stock items.
-
Issuing and finalizing vouchers and preparing receipt documentation.
-
Handling routine supply-related enquiries from internal and external clients.
-
Maintaining accurate stock registers, record books, and charts to monitor inventory levels.
-
Preventing losses and shortages through proper stock control and documentation.
-
Performing basic calculations, compiling statistics, and preparing reports.
-
Drafting and processing letters, notices, and memoranda related to provisioning.
-
Ensuring compliance with CALMIS MMS procedures and other DOD logistics policies.
-
Assisting with general office administration, accounting, and correspondence.
-
Keeping the store or workspace neat, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Additional Information
