PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To deliver excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently processing transactions at the POS, upselling products, and ensuring a clean, fast, and friendly front-of-house environment.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

✔ Process orders quickly and correctly according to SOP
✔ Maintain excellent speed of service
✔ Provide friendly, helpful customer interaction

Cash Handling

✔ Process all payment types accurately
✔ Handle POS transactions confidently and responsibly

Sales Promotion

✔ Inform customers about ongoing promotions
✔ Drive sales through upselling and suggestive selling
✔ Help increase ticket averages

Hygiene & Cleanliness

✔ Keep counter/payment area clean and hygienic
✔ Maintain front-of-house (FOH) stock levels

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Senior Certificate required

• National Senior Certificate preferred

Skills:

• Strong literacy

• Strong numeracy

Experience:

• 1 year cashier experience (QSR/fast food experience preferred)
